Global COE seminars/workshops

In “Corpus-based Linguistics and Language Education,” we organize seminars jointly organized by the GCOE members in the three field, i.e. field linguistics, corpus linguistics, and linguistic informatics and introduce collaborative instruction system by GCOE members in the fields mentioned in the above for the purpose of providing graduate students with extensive knowledge and skills in linguistics and language education.
In April, 2008, we started “Global COE Joint Seminar” in full-scale and have been providing opportunities for global COE researchers, research fellows, junior fellows, and doctoral students to discuss their research themes intensively. Core members of CbLLE are fully responsible for these academic training scheme, although these opportunities are open to other staff of the university so that young researchers will gain not only theoretical elaboration but also in presentation techniques to the wider academic public by receiving positive comments and advice from researchers.
